INTERUPT AC & MEMORY LOST, UNIT TURNS ITSELF ON - REPL IC202 When unit is plugged in and turned off, then remove powercord. Let unit sit for 5-10 mins, then plug back in, it turns itself onand resets micro.

INT PROTECT/CONSTANT PROTECT - R766 AND R769 SHORTED Prob began as intermittent protect then became constantprotect.

CHANNELS FADE OUT LEFT CHANNEL OUT/SURROUND ON - REPL IC301 When surround sound is turned on left channel cuts offcompletely. IC301, the prologic decoder, was defective. With the surroundturned off, the left and right output was ok.

NO OUTPUT FROM MAIN SPEAKERS - Q714 SHORTED Q714 on main board shorted. RY701 relay is not engaged.No audio output.

LEFT CHANNEL OUT, PROTECTION ON, IC301 DEFECTIVE Unit is going into protection when power on, if notprotection, left channel cuts off sound output transistor is ok. I foundI301 defective. Prologic doesn't work.

UNIT HAS NO DISPLAY - TRANSFORMER T901, OPEN Unit has 5v standby, relay kicked on and allowed 12v thruT901, but nothing on display. T901 open at primary coil.

INTERMITTENT SURROUND VOLUME - IC306 DEFECTIVE When surround rear volume was adjusted +5 up to +8, volume torear would cut out below +5 or above +8. Unit would resume normalopeations.

UNIT IN PROTECT - IC651 DEFECTIVE This unit would go into protect as soon as it tried to comeon. All outputs checked OK.

NO POWER - T901 OPENED The unit has no power. Further trouble shooting found thatT901 is open.

NO POWER - POWER BD CRACKED The unit has no power. Checking with volt meter reveals thatthe traces are broken on the primary side of the transformer (Ref #T902).
