NO HANDSET MIC - REPLACE IC503, P/N 8-759-089-92 Handset has no MIC. Traced audio from MIC on handset toIC503/pin 7 (Compressor/expander IC). When audio disappeared, found DCvoltage low on IC503/pin 7. Lifted pin and audio returned. IC503 wasshorted.

NO TALK - R6 MISSING IN BASE No receive coming in to the base. I was checking IC1 (signalProcessor) and it was functioning properly. I went through Q3 (IF amp)and found out R6 is missing in the circuit. No existing part was put inat factory.

ICM TIMING FAILURE - REPLACE IC015, P/N 8-759-089-93 Incoming message record time was less than 60 seconds. Ichecked the Vox circuit IC015 and the timing circuit. I noticed thatIC015 is cold soldered.

VOX CUTTING OFF MEASAGES TOO EARLY-REMOVE SOLDER BRIDGE(R99) When answering machine would take the ICM, the VOX would cutthe messages off. NO RING, NO INTERCOM OR AUDIO AT SPEAKER BASE-RESOLDER J301. No audio at OGM, ring, intercom, memo and play back. Imeasured the speaker resistance (32 ohms), but measured an open at basekeyboard. Found cold solder at base keyboard J301 connector and at speaker(SP601) wires.

NO POWER H.S. - REPLACE IC504, P/N 8-759-511-37. No power H.S. There was no voltage on pin 3 of the voltagedetect IC504. I noticed that IC504/pin 3 was cold soldered.
