DISC CHUCKING NOT COMPLETED DURING LOADING, GEAR NOISE HEARD The unit will pull in the disc, but will not chuck the disc.Gear noise can be heard while unit should be chucking the disc.

FACEPLATE WARNING BEEP DOES NOT WORK When face plate was left on and ignition turned off, unitwould not beep. Check pins 41 and 46 on IC501, found 41 low and 46 high,when ignition was turned off.

WILL NOT LOAD CD/GRINDING NOISE (STRAIGHTEN REF. # 10) When CD is loaded into unit, Load will flash for about fiveseconds, and there will be a grinding noise before CD is ejected.

UNIT STAYS IN TEST MODE (REPLACE IC501, P/N 8-759-167-49) When powered up, display of unit goes through test modefunction. Reset has same effect. When AM, FM or CD is selected, unitgoes through corresponding test mode function.
