UNIT GOES INTO EMERGENCY STOP IN PLAY AND FF Unit would go into emergency shutdown in PLAY. Noticed thatthere was no take-up sensor signal. Replacement of the take-up sensor didnot cure the problem.

NO MECHANICAL MOTION, X501 DEFECTIVE There was no mechanical motion at all. The camera would powerup etc. but would not eject, record, play, etc. Mechanism control IC-501on SS136 had no clock and I found X-501 was defective.
