1. Connect a test pattern to the antenna terminal 2. Tune to this signal 3. Connect a jumper wire between terminals 2 (GND) and 6 (Service) of the service slot on the Video Unit 4. SERVICE SOFTWARE will appear on the screen 5. Remove the jumper wire Use the channel up and down buttons to move between the options Use the volume control buttons to change the data Use the standby button on the remote control to store the data Turn the receiver off at the mains to exit the service mode

Service-Mode Before being switched to the service mode the unit must be set to a channel with a test pattern. Note: The parameters are stored in changed. Press the red key and the blue key on the remote control simultaneously. Within 5 seconds, press the key P-and the key V+ on the local control panel simultaneously The title SERVICE Vxxx (xxx is for software version), appears in the screen. VP Adjust the vertical picture height. Is the setting range not sufficient the range must change with the point CRT. VL Adjust top and button vertical linearity of screen centre. VB Adjust the intensity of the EHT. VB=24 PA Make vertical lines parallel with screen edge. HA Adjust the horizontal size. CC Adjust vertical lines in corners. Basic setting is 0. Setting should only be changed if PA balance cannot be adjusted satisfactorliy. PT Adjust values so that picture has same with at top and bottom edges or other vertical lines are parallel with each other. R Colour drive adjustment G Colour drive adjustment B Colour drive adjustment S-ADJ Connected a Test-picture with stereo signal to the tuner and adjust the TV. Connected Oscilloscope to Pin of ST601. Adjust to lowest crostalk between the channels. L-ADJ Connect Oscilloscope to Pin 1 of ST601. Connect a Test-picture (antenna level>60dBuV/75Ohm) with stereo signal (27kHz frequenceshift.54% modulation factor) to the tuner and adjust the TV. CRT Gear to vertical deflection. In dependence of the picture tube 0 or 1. GR/G+GL Shows like the Cutoff registration locks of in place. Its useable to adjust G2-adjustment. DELAY Superimpose the luma signal on the chrominance signal.

To enter SERVICE MODE, Unplug AC cord till lost actual clock time. Then press and hold Vol (-) button of main unit and remote control key for more than 2 seconds. The both pressing of set key and remote control key will not be possible if clock has been set. To reset clock, either unplug AC cord and allow at least 30 minutes before Power On or alternatively, discharge backup capacitor.

Activation Select program 38, press "SELECT" on local keyboard and "SLEEPTIMER" on remote control for at least 4 sec.. At activation the "H+" is displayed. To remove this display turn off-on the TV set. De-Activation Select program 38, then press "SELECT" on local keyboard and "SLEEPTIMER" on remote control for at least 4 sec.. When de-activation is OK, a "H-" is displayed. To remove this display turn off-on the TV set.
