Reset to factory settings
Disconect from the mains power supply. Press and hold the STANDBY/ON button on the device and reconnect to the mains power supply. Release the button when 'OSD' appears in the VCR display.

Modulator preset
Without cassette. Hold the STOP button on the RC. In addition press the STOP/EJECT button on the VCR until the pre-set modulator frequency appears in the display, e.g. 'M591' (591MHz or 36 ch. UHF). Select line 'OPTIMIZE FREQUENCY' using P+/-. Enter new modulator frequency with the numbers 0-9. In line 'SOUND SYSTEM' select the TV system using VOL+/-. 'G' = PAL B/G. 'K' = SECAM D/K. Confirm with OK. 'STORED' will appear briefly on the screen.

Without cassette. Press and hold STOP on the RC and then press STOP/EJECT on VCR. Select the line 'MODULATOR' on the TV screen or 'MOD+' in the display with P+/-. In the display select 'OFF' / 'MOD-' (modulator off) with VOL-or 'MOD+' (modulator on). Confirm with OK. Exit with MENU

Press CHILD LOCK (key-simbol) on the RC for 5s with the VCR switched on.
