Inverter 12V DC → 110V AC (4068 + 2SJ471 / 2SK2956)
This inverter circuit converts 12V DC from a battery into 110V AC using a robust transistor configuration and precise oscillation control.
The CD4068 IC generates a stable square wave signal that drives the output stage. Power transistors, two pairs of 2SJ471 (P-channel) and 2SK2956 (N-channel), amplify the signal in a push-pull configuration to drive a 12V → 100V, 10A step-up transformer, producing a reliable AC output.
A 7805 voltage regulator IC provides stable 5V DC to power the oscillator and control circuitry. This setup ensures consistent operation, even under varying battery voltage conditions.
Key Features:
- Input Voltage: 12V DC
- Output Voltage: 110V AC
- Transformer: 12V → 100V, 10A
- Oscillator: CD4068
- Power Stage: 2 pairs of 2SJ471 + 2SK2956
- Regulation: IC 7805 for oscillator supply
Tip: Use adequate heatsinks for the 2SJ471/2SK2956 transistors and ensure proper insulation on the transformer connections. This square-wave inverter is suitable for resistive and simple inductive loads.
