This simple LED battery level indicator monitors a 12V car battery using a minimal component design.

The circuit uses two resistors (680Ω and 1.2kΩ) and two Zener diodes (10V and 13V) to define voltage thresholds. A red LED lights up when the battery voltage is low, and a green LED lights up when the voltage is within a safe range.
